Tuesday evening was the Christmas program at Little Blessings. All the kids -- even the babies -- perform songs. The last two years, the event has been downstairs in the basement on the stage. This year the program was big enough to be upstairs in the sanctuary. Mammey drove over for the evening to watch the boys. We let Henry pick our dinner spot, so of course we ended up at Fazolis. I swear he would eat spaghetti every day if we let him.
After dinner we went over to the program at the church.
Sam was hesitant but went up with his class and performed their songs.
Henry decided there was no way on earth he was going up to sing. I don't know what happened because he talked all through dinner about singing at the program. Despite our best efforts to beg, plead, bribe, and threaten, he refused to go up.
After the program, we went downstairs and had cookies and saw Santa. The boys weren't too sure of him and decided it was best to keep their distance.
Even though Henry wouldn't sing, we still had a fun night and are glad Mammey made the drive over to visit. We checked out some Christmas lights on the way home and snagged a few pictures in front of the tree with Mammey.
