Henry has a wonderful time each day after school at Impact. I often have to drag him out the door when the church closes at 5:45. They had a grandparent party today, and we were very lucky because Mammie was in town and able to drive over to join him. He was SO excited. It was also pajama day at school.
The kids performed a bell song for everyone.
Then they enjoyed some yummy cupcakes.
They played games.
And they even made a craft.
We had planned to go ice skating on Saturday, but Henry hurt his neck, so we decided to postpone. We were glad we waited because Mammie was able to join us. ConAgra opens an outdoor ice rink on their campus for a few weeks each winter as a fundraiser for Food Bank of the Heartland. It is a really fun experience, especially when downtown is lit up for the holidays.
After ice skating, we went over and let the kids go down the slides at Gene Leahy Mall. They had a blast and went extra fast in their snow pants.
