Napa - July 30

At some point in planning for our trip, we decided a wine tour in Napa would be fun.  We found one that would pick us up in San Fran, so we booked it.  Later Tina and Cindy also booked the tour as well!

It was fun to see Cindy again!   Within about 3 minutes of meeting up with her in the morning, I was reminded why she's so much fun!  Love this girl.  Her big Texas heart and attitude are entirely too much fun.

We hopped on a shuttle bus and headed to Napa!

First stop, Robert Mondavi.  This stop included an educational tour.  We learned some fun facts about grapes and wine and enjoyed our samples.

We also had a glorious time in the gift shop!

I'm still regretting that I didn't purchase this awesome hat!

After our shopping concluded, we hopped back on the bus to head to Andretti Winery.

We had a great lunch and enjoyed a few more samples!   We jumped sauntered back to the bus to head to our next stop!

Our third stop on our tour was Folie a Deux winery.  We were happy to visit a winery we were familiar with.  We opted to share a bottle of wine instead of doing a tasting.  We ended up buying four more bottles to take home.  Good stuff!

After lounging at Folie a Deux, we boarded the bus for our final destination.  We arrived at Franciscan Vineyards and prepared for our final tasting.

After a few more samples, we purchased some delicious potato chips and boarded the bus to head back to catch a ferry to San Fran.   We made an impromptu stop for a bathroom break on the way back.  The bus driver stressed that we needed to be quick and only go to the bathroom.  I'm sure he was thrilled when we immediately jumped on this chair and decided to disregard his directions in favor of a photo op.
We enjoyed a beautiful ferry ride back to the ferry building.
I should mention that we were really sick of wine at this point in the day, so we enjoyed a delicious bloody mary on the ferry back.

After roaming around the ferry building, we headed back to the hotel.   Somehow we ended up walking.  My Fitbit appreciated the extra steps; however my feet and traveling companion were not as happy about the walk :)

Later that night, we met up with our Mississippi girls again for dinner.  We had planned to meet them at Cheesecake Factory, but due to a two-hour wait, we ended up at Burger Bar.  YUM!!!   We had an amazing view to go with our burgers.

I officially declare Day 2 in San Fran a success!!!
