Smile Station - April 15th

The boys got to go to a new dentist. I swear the dentist wasn't this much fun when I was a kid!

Things were going really well until they tried to do Henry's bitewings. Then things got ugly!

Sammy was very content and had a lovely day.

Henry, not so much.

Sammy enjoyed some Dora on the overhead TVs while he wanted for his exam.

After the dentist, the boys and I enjoyed a late breakfast and a short play date before I had to head back to work.

Kindergarten Round Up - Board Weekend! - April 11

Friday morning was kindergarten roundup for Henry. He was nervous, but ended up having a great time. We had a two-hour meeting while he got to play with his new friends. When we went to pick him up, he announced to us that this was the most awesome day ever. He was pretty bummed he had to wait until August to go back to big school.

After Kindergarten roundup, I jetted off to Des Moines for our board meeting. We grabbed a quick lunch before the meeting! Macaroni Grill was delicious as always. We even got to decorate our wine bottle for them to display.

Bond got to join us for his very first board meeting! He was an excellent contributor.

After lunch, we went over to Perfect Games to play.

We even got to enjoy some nice weather outside later in the afternoon.

After a fun afternoon, we decided to get a late dinner at Hickory Park. The rest of Ames seemed to have a similar plan. We ended up waiting 50 minutes, but it was totally worth it.
