Birthday Monkey - Car Rides
Sunday morning after breakfast, I ran over to Pier One to do a little shopping. My mom bought me this monkey for my garden. He makes me happy :)
I had to go to the courthouse to get my computer, so the boys came along for the car ride. Goofy people.
Henry has a wiggly tooth! Figured we better get a pic before it falls out!
Glow Run 5K
After Colin's party, I hopped in the car and drove to Des Moines to meet some friends for the Glow Run. We had a great time and of course finished the run in record time!
Pump It Up - Happy Birthday Colin!
Saturday we went to help Colin celebrate his birthday at Pump It Up! The boys had a great time. Colin had a glow party. I'm thinking I may have to plan ahead and have my birthday party there next year. It was pretty fun!
Bedtime Procrastination
After trying to get the boys into bed multiple times, I took a break and gave up. I came back to this. Guess I can't complain.
Tee ball - first game
Dave was able to stay home from New York an extra day this week to be able to attend Henry's first tee ball game. We enjoyed our traditional Tuesday evening dinner at Fazolis before the game.
It started sprinkling a few minutes after we arrived at the field, but we eventually decided to play anyway. The rain held off for a bit and the kids all had a great time.
It was our turn to bring snacks for the game. Sammy enjoyed sampling them all while the big kids played ball.
Memorial Day Weekend
After many busy weekends away, we were very happy to get to finally have a weekend at home to relax! We had a nice Memorial Day weekend at home and even got a family bike ride in.
Valley View Park - Round 2
The boys had their check-ups at the doctor and got to leave school early, so we went back to the park to play for a bit before their appointments. It was just as fun as the day before.
Tee Ball - first practice
Henry was VERY excited for his first tee ball practice!
Sammy was excited until he figured out he didn't get to play too.
Henry got nailed in the nose with a tennis ball about 2 minutes into practice and informed everyone he would not be participating any further. Then a few minutes later, he decided hitting the ball looked fun, so he rejoined the team.
Practice is held near a park, so we enjoyed some time to play after practice. The kids discovered monkey bars are pretty fun.
